Hi dear friend:
Are you looking for a healthy treat? Wondering which chocolate to eat? Or trying to figure out which kind of chocolate is healthy and how much of it you should eat? Then dark chocolate could be the ideal snack for you!
First of all, this delicious superfood is made from the seed of the cocoa tree and in addition it has a great number of benefits to our health! According to research, dark pure chocolate without added milk or refined sugar that is can be good for our health.
What chocolate should you get?
When it comes to getting the best benefits from this delicious food get dark pure organic raw chocolate. If not, at least get them with 70% or higher levels of cacao and try to find options without sugar to make it even healthier.
The health benefits of dark chocolate:
- It boosts the production of endorphins, “feel-good” chemicals. Dark chocolate can help you feel happy!
- It boasts a lot of nutrients, it is rich in iron, fiber, copper, magnesium, and other minerals.
- It has shown to decrease bad or oxidized LDL cholesterol.
- Its compounds, called flavonoids which some studies have shown can help improve blood flow to the brain, lower the risk of heart disease, asthma, and type 2 diabetes.
- Eating dark chocolate can significantly reduce blood pressure
- There is good evidence that cocoa flavonoids can acutely improve memory and focus.
In conclusion, these are just some of the reasons why I eat dark chocolate every day and why I recommend you to do it too! I add one teaspoon of dark pure raw chocolate to my yogurt in the mornings.
How much should I eat?
According to research, it suffices with one ounce of this earthly pleasure to do the trick! Actually, it is not advisable to eat large quantities of dark chocolate. Being a food rich in calories and unfortunately, most of them containing big amounts of refined sugar, having large amounts of it has lots of negative effects on our health.
So, go ahead and enjoy guilt-free a small piece of dark chocolate every day to improve your health and your mood!
