Want a healthier version to store-bought chocolate mousse? This is a healthy dairy-free recipe to make chocolate mousse at home!

As someone with osteoarthritis, I suffer from morning joint stiffness. Therefore I have adapted my already healthy diet as part of an early treatment to decrease pain and live a healthier life.

Part of my diet includes drinking ginger lemon tea every morning and having a good ratio of Omega 6/3 essential fatty acids in my diet.

I also eat as clean as possible and avoid processed or refined sugar, gluten and dairy products to prevent inflammation. I am always learning about different and tasty recipes to eat clean and healthy.

This is why this processed sugar-free, dairy-free chocolate mousse recipe is a perfect option if you want to have a healthier tasty dessert at hand.

In addition, avocado and raw pure cocoa are very nutritious. Avocado has lots of potassium, heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acid, and fiber! Raw pure cacao has magnesium, calcium, sulfur, zinc, iron, copper, potassium, and manganese, as well as flavonoids, vitamins, monounsaturated fatty acid, protein, and fiber.

Healthy tip:

Try to choose organic ingredients for this recipe in order to benefit from more nutrients, enjoy better taste, avoid hormones, antibiotics, and drugs in animal products. In addition, organic farming practices are designed to encourage soil and water conservation and reduce pollution.

Finally, you can add Stevia, almond extract, cinnamon, coffee, or fruit to taste. Place in the fridge 30 minutes before serving.
